4th November: Lexmond's Birthday - The freak turns 15

Was somewhat a stupid birthday celebration. Xuan and I planned everything at 10pm the night before so everything was such a mess. I offered to hold it at my place since theres a billiard room and games room and a function room at my place. Sunday morn (4th nov) went to book the function room etc at abt 11 am in the morn. Found out i couldn't book the function room cos i have to pay a deposit if i want to book it and i have to book it through the admin which is not open during sundays. Ended up with the games room and billiards room. Everyone started arriving at abt 1-2. Joel reached first then lexmond came. Surfed penguinmagic.net to look at tudor's dvds and the reviews. He's damn sick. The reviews by ppl are like "If you want a video that teaches but doesn't teach, this is the dvd for you...." "Buy this dvd if you want your spectators to understand 10% of everything you showed them."
Nic Hui came, then aaron and xuan called. Went out to find xuan and aaron(rather hard) and went to buy a cake from the neighbourhood cakeshop due to unpredicted errors of trusting xuan.
Ended up playing poker in the games room for 1hr. Then went to PLAY billiards. BP goes up everytime the billiards room is booked. They use their hands to THROW the balls. The best thing was the billiards room has full length GLASS WINDOWS. The balls knocked on the windows like a thousand times. Stone around for some time. Then we started to get bored. So went to my house and cut the cake. Played number game for awhile then i played "happy birthday" to lexmond on my sax before we left. Continued playing number game in the mrt. The incidents are too retarded to mentioned. All i can say is we've enquired whether the mrt goes to hogwarts and walked through about 4 cabins pretending our heads were knocking on the ceiling of the mrt. Went to Plaza Sing and ate at manhattan's fish market. Continued number game there too. More retarded things happened. Won't mention this. Then i went to Yamaha to buy some sax score books. Stoned at Gelare and continued playing number game. Everyone was too tired to dare anymore so it was like "truth" "truth" "truth" "truth" "truth". Went home some time after...

Allergy Survey

Due to the busy-ness these few days. I could find time to post anything. Thus, the subsequent few posts will be lag posts featuring events a few days before the actual post

So busy recently. IBA takes up like most of my time. Was quite cool at first. Then the third and fourth days were quite boring. Haha. So much happened, no time to blog at all. Second day we went to do the manual work instead of sitting at a table surrounded by four walls and doing stuff. Went to The Waterside condo to spray some random chemicals to kill mosquitoes and the larvae. Crap the the cylinder which they use to store the chemicals is damn heavy. Me and mj had to carry the whole damn thing around the whole condo. Freaking big condo, not those small developments. This condo had like 9 blocks. Crazy. Took about one hour to finish spraying. Arms ached like hell after that. Then we rest for awhile while the other workers went to check out other stuff with the guard. Then went to another condo. This was the cool part. Got a call saying that a lady has bees in her house. So we went up to check. At first the person we were following (he's experienced) just brought a a small fogging thing. Its about the size of a small insecticide spray can. Went into the house and looked around at the dead bees. Then we climbed up into the banisters to take a look (the unit was the top floor). Saw the beehive. Quite big. Its about 1.5 times the size of an average head. So we went back down to the truck to get chemicals cos the fogging thing was obviously not enough. Stupid me. I went to volunteer to help him kill the bees. Life's stupidest moments... Made me hold the torchlight and keep shining it on the hive while he spray the chemicals. The banisters is damn damn damn dark. Almost cant see my fingers. Then when he sprayed, the bees all started flying. The sound was shitting loud. It was like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ omg damn scary. Cos it was so dark, can hardly see anything. Then the stupid bees keep flying into me and across my face. But i can't move cos they might sting if theres any sudden movement. At that moment i was like wth? why did i agree to do this? With totally NO protection at all we just went up and kill the bees. Am i insane or am i insane or am i insane. Luckily none of them stung anyone. The guy said cos they were JUST honeybees. Said if hornets than will need protection. CRAZY! Hornets i run away already still wear what protection.

Went out to watch a movie after work. Spent all my money... Sobs. Wasted almost 2 hours of my time watching The Seeker. Totally pointless show. Like wth? The basic storyline is actually not bad. But the happenings are like too fast. 5 Days??? Like wth. Then walked around suntec for awhile and went home.

Damn happy. For once. Life's Good! ;) Went to swee lee and ranking to buy a harmonica with my parents. Then my dad saw some saxophones on display. Ended up trying and buying the sax. I was like.. OMG are you serious? Damn... Its a damn sexy colour. The body is a sexy brownish black blue and the button and links are gold plated. Played a little on the spot. Freaking embarrassed. Haven't played for like 3 years. Freaking rusty. Squeak alot of times. Everyone in the shop was like staring at me. >.< But it still owns because i got a sax FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today had iba. wth... Mingjun keep telling me to be at his place on time can't be late. Reached there 5 mins late (7.35). Thought i was in deep shit. End up his dad was tired from business trip to shanghai. Slept till 10 plus. So we ended up going to work at around 10 plus. ROFLMAO. Feels damn good when you can come to work anytime and no one will scold you. Being a boss owns. Was quite excited at first. Then we were made to read up on rodents and mosquitos (pest control company). ZZZZZZzzzzz then had to read up on the safety measures and proper handling methods of chemicals. Whole day gone just like that. Went back to mingjun's house and watched 300. Damn nice. Went home after that. Kept nodding of on the train. The old man beside me was rather scary *ahem*. Went home and played a little of the sax. Still damn freaking rusty. Squeaks and i run out of breath so fast. die liao...

Bad day. Boring day. School day.

My prediction yesterday was right. I died. Couldn't even walk up a flight of stairs properly. My legs were killing me. Yesterday at about nine plus at night. Received an sms from badminton mate saying we're running tomorrow. Completely died. About halfway through the run, my thighs were like rock hard especially when we ran up the slope. I'm not going to run for the next few days.

School's ending. Finally! The post examination crap are starting to become a torture. IBA starting soon. Need to mug for physics retest. Spent almost the whole day slacking and trying to not go for retarded post exam activities. Either played poker or practice my farrow. Still can't get it exactly right. Always have at least one area where there are 2 cards. Still, its improvement. Practiced fanning too. Played around with a photo i took of my fan. Made a negative of it. Its at the sideboard. Looks sexy.

Nothing much else happened. Bored. No mood for anything recently. Post exam blues.

Survey - Body piercing

Did another survey from Dneero. This survey's on body piercings. Personally i think body piercing is sick. Poking holes in your body is not right. We have enough holes to put objects in ;D One or two piercings is fine, but piercing everywhere is sick. Saw a guy at the mrt with like 15 piercings on his face. Looked like some demon.

Wooosh.. Finally got a job for iba. Haha, going to work at ming jun's dad's pest control company. Its going to be damn slack. Think i'll bring some physics books to study there for physics retest. Damn retest. Costs 25 bucks for a few sheets of black and white flatten fibre from trees. Complete rip off.
Bet the school makes a hell lot from all this crap.

Had chinese karaoke competition today. Coeway totally pwns everyone. Way to go coeway.... just grow a little more and you're there :D

After school, went to IMM with my dad and sister. Ate at Red Leaf. Had mutton curry. Haven't eaten curry for quite awhile. Then went to Giant in IMM. They were selling pumpkins with faces printed on them. Looked cute. Managed to stack 3 on top of each other. Then there was this giant pumpkin. H-U-G-E. Then we left to pick my mum up.

Reached home, changed into tank-top, then went for some exercise and a run. Stupid stupid stupid me. Forgot i ate curry during lunch. My stomach was burning when i ran. Percentage rate of me dying tomorrow - 99.99%. Found my left thigh still hurts. Didn't really much occur to me why - and then i knew... mr pzx... Getting damn fat without exercise during this period.

The magic site which i was thinking about has been set-up. But its a blog cos lexmond and joel thinks the internet package thingy is a scam. So... for now a blog will do. 3 posts in total at the blog so far. 1 introductory. 2 posts on what cards to use and how to maintain the conditions of your cards. Got my results back on friday. WTH. Its the worst it could ever get. Felt suicidal. After school, went out with joel jethro and lexmond. Waited at the bus stop opposite school for 14. Took so damn long. Felt like standing in the middle of the road. The bus finally came. Went to plaza sing. Ate Carl's Jr. Damn. The burgers were hell bigger than i remembered. and the beef chili cheese fries. ooooh. Carl's Jr can easily be FSM heaven. Figured it would take 6 months for a healthy person to die of heart attack if he eats Carl's Jr for breakfast, lunch and dinner (supper too maybe). Went to magic hall after lunch. Jethro left after lunch to go jamming in india. Learnt a new trick from Solomon. Damn cool trick. Also bought a gimmick trick. Its damn cool too. Stoned around in Magic Hall for a while. Then we went off. Lexmond had to go to mnt e hospital for checkup. Joel was going wheelock place to meet his uncle or something. Walked to somerset mrt with joel. Then took the mrt to city hall and went to swee lee to check out the harmonicas. Would most probably be getting the harmonica this sunday. Still haven't found a job for iba. I better get a job fast or i might have to go for day-camp. AARRHH. Hate school. Hate physics. Went home and stoned throughout space and time.

Created a new blog. This blog will not be a personal blog. Its a blog on magic. Will be revealing some magic tricks and giving some tips on magic. Lexmond and Joel are also part of that blog. Just got it started so until its fully up i won't add it to my links yet.

Life sucks.

Went cycling this evening. Nice cool weather after the rain. Cycled through some HDBs and came to yishun sports stadium then crossed the road and cycled on the pathway and went into some park. The park looks cool from the outside but there were areas where they blocked up. Looked damn scary, didn't dare to stay to take pictures of it. Cycled as fast as i could out of the park without knocking people down. Then i went into bottleneck garden (not sure if the name is correct. its something like that). Also a damn remote place. No one there except a few construction workers and this guy slouching at the fishing area (reckon its a beer lake). Not sure if he was asleep anot. Saw some funny fountain which did not spout any form of liquid (invisible grog!). Also saw two statues of tigers there. Got a shock when i first glanced at it. Stop to laugh at the tigers and take some pictures. Then started to wonder if they could come alive and eat me. The thought got me on my bike again. Cycling out of the garden when i heard some noises from the jungle (maybe its a small patch of wild vegetation but who cares? as long as we have grog). The jungle looked scary too. Then i went on to mandai road and cycled and cycled and cycled till i reached some random building - quarantine for animals or something. Then i turned back and cycled home. Was about six fifty by then. Looked at the sky and took some pictures of it.

Still wondering if i'll make it to obituary... This might well be my last post.. Sobs.

Wooooo... Wednesday, finished a math paper.. me joel drew jethro xuan and many more went to eat lunch before going to the movies. Had lunch at N.Y.D.C. OMG the food is so much! Me and joel ordered an elephanccino, its damn cool the elephanccino is so large! When jethros food came me xuan and lexmond helped him POUR the cheese onto his plate. Then aaron did the same like omg!!! Got some pics of the cheese.Watched balls of fury. Yucks... Its the stupidest show ever. I mean there are many stupid comedies around but at least you have to think a little to get some of their jokes.. balls of fury is plain stupid, we had to turn off our brains to get it... I shared a Combo 3 with juken... Was like OMG??? The popcorn so much! aargh at the end of the movie we only managed to eat about 1/4 of it. WASTED.. After that we walked around orchard and stoned around in paragon... We were camwhoring a little and lexmond was throwing cards around. Somehow one card flew out (whoosh) and landed on some horizontal landing in between the escalators two storeys down. We were laughing like hell and everyone was looking at us lol. Went home after that and went to johor to visit my grandparents. Played ps2 for a while and used their com there. Helped my cousin set up his msn and played with fire at the front yard... then went home. There was a jam at the checkpoint.. Stoned in the car while we went through. Fell asleep somehow.. When we reached home it was like one plus in the morning. Washed up ... and slept.

Next day woke up at about ten plus... ate breakfast changed up and went out again to meet xuan lexmond jethro and joel. Played bowling for a while then had lunch at carls jr. OMG i was like damn stupid i went to upsize my combo... ZZZ in the end me lexmond and joel shared most of the fries. It piled up like damn high. Damn full after that.. moaned back to the mrt station then we split up with jethro and xuan. joel and lexmond came to my house and we went to the billiard room. played proper billiards for 2 minutes then started screwing around. Played some random stuff where we were supposed to use our hands to shoot the billiard balls into the holes of each other ( we guarded 2 holes each). Loser was the one with the most balls in his holes. Played for about 50 mins when we decided the we should stop (lexmond shot the balls so hard some of them flew out of the billiard table and knocked the glass windows damn loudly luckily none of them broke) went to my house and we watched jay sankey's "Oh My God". Think that was sankey's first magic video. Damn funny he taught some magic tricks for like the first 5 - 10 mins in his magic video. The rest was just bullshit funny. We were like rofloao. My parents came home after that so joel left as he had something up. Me and lexmond went over to xuan's house to stay over. He has a home theater!!! OMG! Stoned in there most of the time. Played PS games though most of them couldn't load. Then we had movie marathon. Watched Groundhog Day, 16 Blocks and Bad Company. Stopped at around 6am next day. Slept till eleven plus. Woke up and ate breakfast. Then we went back down to the movie theater (it was at the basement) and stoned around. Ordered sushi. at about two plus the sushi finally came. Spent ten minutes packing up the home theater and we moved at table into the home theater and had our sushi there while watching Shanghai noon. When we finished it was about 5 plus already. Then i walked to the bus stop. I had to cross FOUR traffic lights to get to the other side of the road like wth?!?!?! Made me miss my bus. Went to the bus stop and felt damn bored. after a while i wanted to send an sms to my dad to say i was on my way home at the bus stop already and when i looked up the bus zoomed by.. WTH life sucks. Finally the third bus came and i got on. At my stop i press the stop button but no sound. Pressed again and again and again but still not sound. So the bus drove past that stop. Damn irritating. Press another stop button and it sounded!!!aaargh!!! had to walk back to the bus stop. Went home and just stoned. Tried to post yesterday but something wrong i couldn't log in to blogger so had to post today..

*Memo* Thursday - Woosh! So excited for the whole day. I'm gonna change my phone!! Waited so long for this. LOL saw the phamplet and decided on the SE W880i. Then we went to the place and they told us that w880i ran out of stock. Spent like half an hour standing there deciding whether to get the nokia n73 or the SE W850i. In the end i decided on the SE w850i because i felt that the buttons in the n73 were hard to press (it was SLIGHTLY uglier too...). Only than did my mum realize she forgot to bring her I/C with her (we needed her I/C for the promotion). LOL. Went back home feeling impatient. After dinner my mum and my dad went to their main outlet at cuppage road and got the phone. I waited till 11plus for them. Got me so anxious because they said the shop closes at 8pm i thought something happen. End up they were shopping....

This evening, i was lying on my bed, when it suddenly hit me why i suddenly lost my "enthusiasm" to mug during the weekends. I guess it really hit me bad because i didn't even signed in to post anything for the whole weekend. All the "enthusiasm" lost because of --- chinese prelims. It was plain boring. It wasn't even going to be counted in our year overalls, neither was it a national exam - just extra in other sense. I don't mean its 100% redundant, at least we'll get to know roughly how well we'll do in the O-levels but having 2 papers with 20 minutes rest in between is just OVERKILL. Anyway, read couch today after mugging physics. I finally understood waves!!!!111oneoneelevenone11! Went through the return of the kings trick just to make sure i won't forget it. I still can't really find a suitable platter for that trick.

Monday... Boring day... Usual lessons nothing particular... Haiz exams coming already. Sometimes i just don't get why we learn all these chim stuff in school. Not like we're going to use them next time. I mean like would we use kinematics to calculate the force exerted by a car or something? Got bored during chinese, amath and c math today... so i was like plugging in my mp3 almost the whole time in class including chem. Drew some random pics lol maybe i'll post them later if i feel bored. Haven't been touching my cards for 2 weeks plus. Been mugging these days... Why cant we not have exams? Damn life sucks. I better just pick up my cards and practice them for a while. Showed the magic colouring book to some random guy today. Showed him from far so i just showed him empty book - pictures - coloured pictures. Then i saw that guy's reaction i was like roflmao. First he was damn stunned then he turned to his friends and was like bla bla. Super animated.

Damn my racket broke during training today. wth.. Its not like i even whack it on the ground.. just stroking and then it just broke... now i need to buy a new racket..

Today - Played against kendric lee in the cheers national today. Got steamrolled 21-7 21-6. Felt damn weird. First time my arm ached. My arm ached while i was playing against kendric lee today... weird... first time my arm actually ached while i was playing a match... like i just did weights the day before... damn the sba hall... the drought there is like in hurricane... first set i can lob hard and the shuttle still in change side only just using my wrist the shuttle go out. wth... gave away like 10 over points because of that.

Opened my series 1800 deck today. The cards look cool but the feeling is a little weird. I dunno if its just me or that the card really is weird... Maybe its because the cards look old but feel new... Rather nice deck. I think the magic colouring book is quite a good trick. Just that people who are observant enough might know how the trick is done. Good for mass audiences i think... Haven't been practicing magic for some time. Just pick up my cards to play a little while here and there...

Memo* Back to Sat - Yesterday -> Had flag day yesterday... Damn boring. Woke up at 6:30 and went to newton to collect the collar pins to sell. Lexmond came in his "sexy" black converse shoes haha. looked like he was wearing flippers >.< Xuan Juken Yu Ming Timothy and Po Hau came too... Lol never thought that yu ming would ever sign up for any thing VOLUNTARILY . Gathered as a group left as a group to Dhoby Ghaud den we broke up tim pohau and yuming went off themselves. The remaining few of us went to check out magic hall - too bad it was closed still. Den after that we wandered around orchard road tryin to get ppl to buy our collar pins. success rate was like 1% so we calculated that if we had to sell 80 collar pins, we would ahve to ask 8000 ppl LOL. den xuan got pissed and bought 12 of his own collar pins so he can slack... same boringness till bout 10 den rgs and cresent girls started coming to have their flag day... by 11 it was like every 5m in orchard road u see one grp of rgs ppl. Like omg?
Blablabla got bored den went to find tim and stoned while they sold their pins and went back to newton to report. den we went for lunch and juken went off for tuition and xuan went home cos he was broke. me and lexmond went to magic hall and looked around. wanted to leave but felt bad not buyin anything so i bought the series 1800 and lexmond bought a chopper deck. Den we went to park mall and i bought a magic colouring book >.< lexmond went home after that. Den i met up wif alvin and went to swee lee, ranking and excelsiour to look around. I sorta found the harmonica i wanted but a little exp. The lowest they could give was 130 bucks... mayb i'll hunt a little more to see if i can get a better price....

Boring day boring week. Nothing much during this week. Lessons was per usual.... but we had a charity cafe today. Specially bought 8 1.5L drinks and 128 plastic cups for that... carried them home till the plastic bags tore... damn irritating. the bottles fell out of the plastic bag like 5 times, and this stupid taxi driver had to reverse in front of me. Nothing much during charity cafe. Just pon class to sell stuff and slack in class practicing cards with joel and lexmond when teacher not around. Joel bought this trick called "horsing around". Rather cool. I wouldnt buy it though... little rating there >.< Mostly i've been practicing the jordan count now.. I can do it roughly fine. Its just the last part where u take the last card - bums me. Few days ago in the library, Gerard came to me and was like "haha u noob u read ur blog. OMG! u can't even do a JORDAN COUNT!?!? U're so noob omg u suck" so i was like yea fine show me urs den. Turns out his jordan count sucks more than mine. He flashes his cards like everywhere everytime. ROFLMAO. This sat got flag day. Maybe I'll drop by magic hall with lexmond after flag day...

Today was a stupid day. My sis's birthday today... Her classmates were rather irritating... Haiz spent the a whole 3 hours filling water balloons. And no thanks. life sucks. Did a performance in the function room... Not really a performance though, by the time i got onto the third trick, like half the ppl where gone. likt wth!!! My mum said she would pay me 50 bucks for that... hope she does.

Still cant get that stupid trick. I guess i got too engrossed in learning the Jordan count till i forgot the whole trick. Damn. One of the trick i did during the "performance" was triumph. I think triumph can be one of my best tricks. Forgot to show incredibly clean...

Life sucks

Haiz.. National Day holiday over so fast. It's another blue monday. Week B as usual, dismissed later from chapel than week A. Surprise me there. Went to school depressed cos i still cant do the trick which we bought at magic hall last tuesday. Didn't expect joel to have problems with it too. he's pretty much stuck at the same point as me... can't do the freaking Jordan count properly. I got encouraged when i knew joel couldn't do the Jordan count too... so i tried to practice the whole trick again, and i realized i forgot how to perform the trick. Sinking morale again back to square one.
*Memo* Saturday - Sitting at my table, going through the tricks i know. Found i could remember only about 13 tricks. Damn i should know more... Guess i'll watch Jay Sankey's 22 blows to the head again... sian i forgot almost everything from there. Think i only remember one trick from that dvd. Damn... life sucks...

Memo:*8th August - National Day. Me - slouching on the sofa, reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Read through most of the National Day celebration. The last book's not bad. Better than i expected, but the ending is rather abruptly. Well, at least reading the book is better than watching the movie. So far all HP movies suck. They haven't much followed the book, cut out so much stuff. Anyway, i havent been touching my cards for a long time since i started reading HP. Read order of phoenix, half blood prince, and deathly hallows in a straight. Never imagined snape to be good. LOL. the impression in the 6th book of snape was really strong. haha. hard to see that he was actually good, but i like the twist. Its waht made it nice-er. I think i must have forgotten the trick we bought recently at magic hall. I only remember the Jordan count. Forgot most of it. The disappearing card case seems like a rather good effect to me though its really quite stupid once u know how it works. still, i think the effect would be good cos its really visual. Good for small kids and adults too. I guess i've to start to have some real visual tricks if i'm gonna perform for parties. I can't see myself performing in an adults' birthday party... It would mostly be kids. The thought of being a stage magician irks me. I mean.. to me, a stage magician is more of the gimmicks than skills required. Street magic's still cooler. But if i'm gonna perform at kids' parties, i should better have some visual stuff.

We had our annual school cross country event yesterday. Retarded. I still cant believe i fainted. Not exactly fainted but i sort of blacked out for a few seconds. Damn i could have got top10 if i din faint... Went to pizza hut for lunch after cross. Jethro's retarded. Piling the cheese on his pizza. I'll see if i can get a pic of his pizza. Then we went to magic hall. Saw solomon. I bought this lame disappearing card case gimmick. The effect's not bad i guess. Got this thumb tip flame too. Then we bought another trick and spent the remaining time slacking and jamming.

Z my sister's birthday's coming soon. She's making me perform for her birthday party when i havent even agreed to perform! Worst thing, I'm not even going to be paid a cent! Wheres justice... I think I'll probably just do a short half hour show. Bleah*

Today was the opening ceremony of our school badminton hall. I had to be there from morning to evening. The morning part was just boring and rather lame. The only cool thing was that we had candra and indra, ricky and rexy to come. Damn cool! Rexy was damn cool. He did lots of funny trickshots while stroking and playing the exhibition match. Sadly i forgot to get their signatures. At least i got to see them. =( Ronald Susilo and Kendric Lee came too.

Speaking about gerard's blog. Seriously, decknique is not bad a website. The videos are cool (check out the birthday tribute video i think thats wad its called..) They show some real cool stuff. Dananddave.com is not bad too. Trilogy's finally out! but its damn exp! like wth 85US. US!!! its like a hundred over bucks for that!

I just realized gerard chee has a blog too. Zomg... i read through his blog.. its rather lame - almost like mine =.= in one of his posts he added some video which is supposed to be a "tutorial" for a random flourish.. eh wads the name... oh yea Apocalyspe cut. Sounds retarded enough to be a name.. honestly the tutorial sucks! i cant even see for nuts in that dim background. I think i could do better. Mayb i'll ask if gerard chee knows how to do it. I'd like to see him show me ;D

Damn. I got a damn audition on friday to get my busking license at 2.10. now, i just got informed that i have to go for a compulsory briefing by my teacher for some official opening ceremony for our school badminton hall. Seriously lag... Celebrate the opening ceremony of our NEW hall after we've used it like for almost a year? Might as well open the old hall for ceremony. Just hope that the opening ceremony wont be so boring. I've got to be there from morning till evening. =.=

I realized card toons is actually not a bad trick except for the fact that you cant show the trick twice. Its slightly stupid that we have to rearrange the decks again after performing the trick once. Not to mention irritating people who keep trying to sneak a peek at the cards. Otherwise, its a fairly good trick which can be perform to audiences of almost any size. Personally, i still think that card toon1 is better. As in, pulling a card out of a hat seems more magicky compared to blasting yourself out of a cannon and plucking a card out of the air....

Zzz lexmond just told me today that our audition for busking license is on friday. Like wth? i have training.. Omg i dun dare to pon training... busking auditions are retarded.. u go there and perform in front of a few judges just to get a license WOW. Damn i duno wad to perform. lexmond can juggle hell better than me. not that i suck - he practices almost 24/7. so mayb i'll go there and drop some balls and do stupid backpalms. WOW i so look forward to it..

Today after school i went to Magic Hall to get card toon 2.. zz i shud have gotten card toons 1 but they ran out of stock. like zzz? Jeffrey wasn't there, Solomon not there too, only kenneth.... no one to show me random stuff... so i jus bought my stuff and left zz. Den i went back to school to meet my frens to go for my teacher's father's funeral. Boy was he scary... so frail looking... we like stoned there for some time before going to KAP for dinner. My stomach still boils from the mc spicy....

don't expect to earn back fast

magic has never been something which u would expect to spend little money on and expect high returns (by performing). but i guess i've managed to safe really a great deal on magic by not getting the real useless dvds. Credit to my frens.. yea they started abt 2years before me so i really get lots of advice on what to buy from them, saving lots of money for me. I think that its good to have a few close friends who know magic too so that u could pool money together for really exp stuff or buy a trick together. yea... it should be more of a hobby than something which u want to go into just to get extra revenue.. treat it as a hobby, get ur satisfaction from the faces of the people whom u shown ur tricks to. and the extra weight in ur wallet? thats just the bonus.

Card beginners

Well, technically theres lotsa stuff in card magic. i wont give them away though.. but i feel that Os Pearlman's starter's dvd is good i think the dvd's called "Born to Perform". Yea... its really good for starters cos Oz really teaches all the basic stuff (way to go Oz zzomgzz =.=) and theres other stuff such as passes which can be learnt from Richard kaufman (On the Pass with Richard Kaufman) i just u've to watch the video a few times before u'll get it though.

Magic?

I just started getting into magic at the start of this year. Its hard to start at first, but i feel that its really quite worth it after u've learnt a good amount of tricks... enough to show a little here and there. Basically i started on card magic as its one of the most visual ones ( other than escapism and the random big fake tricks by david blaine which include "flying") At first, i thought magic revolves around cards only. Woo i was DEAD WRONG zzz. I don't think i'll ever get bored of magic. Theres card magic, coin magic, escapism tricks, and those random tricks u see on tv. I'm not that good so i won't talk much about what i know... but i could give a few helpful tips for starters.
